Eragon by Christopher Paolini

This story was set a long, long time ago. The story takes place in Alagaesia. It is about a boy named Eragon who finds a blue and white stone and keeps it for a few days but one day the stone is gone! A dragon appears. Was the stone an egg? Or did someone steal the stone and the dragon found a way in? 

Jonothan says; "I didn't have a favourite part. I like the book. All of it. I think this book is a very,  very good book. I enjoyed the book a lot! I would recommend this book for people between the age of 9 and 12. It would also be good for people who like fantasy books."





Goosebumps: My Hairiest Adventure by R. L. Stine

This story takes place in America. Larry Boyd and his friends Lily, Jared, Kristina and Manny find an old Insta-Tan bottle. The label says "Rub it on and you will get a dark suntan". Larry and his friends do it but nothing happens. But then Larry suddenly grows black hair. What will Larry do?

Jordan says; "I think this book is a good book because it is surprising and funny at the same time and it explains the characters very well. My favourite part is when Larry and his friends' band win the Battle of the Bands becuase everyone thinks his black hair is a special effect! I recommend this book to kids who like surprises and kids between the age of 8 to 12. I think it is suited for girls and boys."



Wild Rescue: Polar Meltdown by S. Volger and J Buchet

This book is about two children who work for a secret organisation called Wild Rescue. They save endangered animals. Ben and Zoe have to go to Alaska to save two polar bear cubs because their mom was shot. Will Ben and Zoe make it?


Dylan says; "I really like this book. It was exciting and amazing. My favourite part is when Zoe is nearly killed by a polar bear but she sprays snow in its face. I recommend this for children between the ages of seven and nine. If you like books about saving animals then this series is for you.
